A Researcher’s Inside Look at the Impact of EAPs

Dr. Marc Milot of Workreach Solutions shares independent evidence of the impact of the Arete Employee Assistance Program (EAP) on employees. The data illustrates that employees who accessed the program found improved health outcomes, including lower anxiety, depression, overall psychological distress, work presenteeism and work-related distress, as well as higher work engagement and greater life satisfaction. Dr. Milot also shares his perspective on using a Return on Value (ROV) approach for insurers when assessing other outcomes such as reduced disability claims and prescription drug costs.
