Feeling the January blahs? Need little inspiration? Join us for our first film festival – a collection of entertaining online talks, guaranteed to shake you from seasonal doldrums.
This month, we bring you six riveting TED talks, presented by a variety of motivating people. Our suggestion is that you find time at lunch or on a break to watch one every day or so. Share them with colleagues and friends and exchange opinions on the messages. The longest is 18 minutes – just the right length to capture and keep your attention!
These videos are all available free on www.ted.com/ and after you watch these hand-picked favourites, scroll through the posted list on the site and build your own library of inspiration.

And because we know popcorn will increase your viewing pleasure, here’s a simple recipe that’s healthier than prepackaged microwave brands. Cheaper too.
Dr Oz’s Popcorn Recipe
• Pour ¼ cup popcorn kernels into brown paper lunch bag
• Fold over top of bag
• Microwave for 2 minutes or until popping stops
• Pour into bowl
• Lightly spray with cooking spray (helps spices stick)
• Lightly shake on favourite seasoning (cinnamon, barbeque, garlic salt)
Enjoy!
